The Spellwick

Reaching her twentieth perennial hallowing, Candela has already learned all that the master Spellwicks of her order could teach her. But feeling that she could learn even more from greater sources she trifled with demonic powers, as night after night she exiled herself into the Forbidden Null, the third hell and the source of all thought magic. Of course, such activities don't go unnoticed and she was later banished from her home city Arbogast by her very order for all of her living days.

Growing resentful of what the Spellwicks have done to her, she fled to the Tyler Estate offering her abilities to their cause in exchange of the chance to train with its member and to transmogrify her abilities and fuel her vengeance towards her past order. As days passed her abilities to fracture the very minds of her enemies grow in strength and with the renewed flame of revenge in her heart she marched into Arbogast. With her refined magics she laid down her vengeance upon them as every mage of the order in sight are struck down by the terrible anger of Candela's horrifying magic. With her order now ruined she picks up the grand mantle of the Spellwick from the ashes, vowing to strike down all who crosses the path she and her newfound comrades follow.

Upon cast, all heroes within AoE are marked. As long as a hero is marked, they are revealed to Candela and her allies.
During the duration of the spell, all of Candela's spell become instant-cast AoE spells and hit all of the marked heroes regardless of their distance from Candela.

About Candela

As a ranged intelligence hero, Candela's play style revolves around her ability to punish enemy spell casters and apply debuffs that hinder their spell casting while boosting her own. She can confidently fill up the role of nuker and disabler if played to full potential.

Her first ability, Atra, is a spammable projectile spell that serves as Candela's early game poke spell. It is a unique projectile ability that can be cast on the ground and deals damage and slow in a small area of effect on a target point. However, unlike other similar skill-shot projectiles, Atra travels in an upward curve, avoiding creeps and heroes in front of it. This mechanic allows Atra to hit the rear part of a creep wave or the enemy hero hiding behind their creeps.

Her second ability, Perish the Thought, disrupts enemy spell casting by increasing the mana cost of their abilities by a handful. Furthermore, if the enemy decides to go through with it and cast a spell the enemy is damaged and stunned for a small duration.

Bend Arcana is Candela's passive ability which allows her spells to deal more damage to heroes with lesser mana percentages. It also hinders enemies' ability to cast spells by adding a significant cast time to heroes as they are hit by Candela's spells.

Her ultimate ability, Eyes of the Void, transforms her into a dangerous spellcaster; turning her into a hero that is able to dish out high amounts of damage by allowing her to hit every single enemy hero marked by her ultimate with her individual spells. Purchasing Aghanim's Scepter ramps up the disruptive ability of Candela's ultimate making her a dangerous presence in the battlefield.

Overall, Candela is a tricky hero that requires proper timing and execution to master, as all heroes are. If Candela or a hero like her is somehow implemented into the game, expect a lot more heroes punished for recklessly cast
