Audrey is a long-range support hero that puts the battle to her team's favor by amplifying the potential of her allies, or undermining her enemies' strengths so that they simply cannot fight back. The Conduit Staff controls the flow of mana in the battlefield, draining enemies' mana for the use of her own team. And if given the chance, Audrey can unleash a devastating AOE attack to those who are unfortunate enough to be in range of the Conduit Staff.

Conduit Staff
Audrey throws her magical staff across the battlefield. The Conduit Staff travels in a straight line until it collides with an enemy or an ally, attaching itself to the target. While the staff is attached to an ally, it will increase their primary attribute. If the staff is attached to an enemy it will decrease their primary attribute instead.

While the staff is not in Audrey's hands, it will continuously drain her mana depending on how much the target's attribute is being shifted(100% of Stat Bonus Given/Drained). She cannot auto-attack as well.

Using the ability again will bring back the staff to Audrey, allowing her to auto-attack again and stopping her mana from draining.

Audrey unlocks the potential of her and her allies, granting bonuses to a hero depending on their primary attributes.

If the Conduit Staff is attached to an ally or Audrey, it will give bonuses to the target.
  • Strength : Grants 10%/15%/20%/25% Damage Reduction
  • Agility : Increases Attack Speed(35/50/65/80) and Movement Speed by 25%/30%/35%/40%
  • Intelligence : Grants 25%/30%/35%/40% Spell Amplification

If the Conduit Staff is attached to an enemy, it will instead give penalties to the target.
  • Strength : Takes 10%/15%/20%/25% More Damage from Attacks and Spells.
  • Agility : Decreases Attack Speed by 35/50/65/80 and Movement Speed by 25%/30%/35%/40%
  • Intelligence : Spells will deal 25%/30%/35%/40% less damage.

Buffs and De-buffs lasts for 3 seconds.

Effects are now applied in a 650 radius around the location of the Conduit Staff.

Conducting Field

Playstyle

Audrey's role in the game is to support her team from a safe distance, giving buffs to certain heroes that already have a big impact in the game and kicking it up a notch. Attaching her Conduit Staff on her carries will give them bonuses to their stats giving more DPS and more mobility. She can also enable other spell-casting supports by giving them a damage boost and also extra mana regeneration.

She can also be used offensively by decreasing the DPS of the enemy team's carries and punishing front lining tanks with Unlocked Potential. Combining her ultimate with initiators and mobile heroes can create devastating combos that can burst multiple heroes down. Conducting Field can also disrupt enemy spellcasters by burning their mana which in turn can be used by her team's spellcasters.

Early/Mid Game


Tranquil Boots - Provides good health regeneration and Movement Speed for survivability and positioning.
Urn of Shadows - Great item for supports in general. Both for healing and dealing more damage early.
Eul's Scepter of Divinity - Provides Movement Speed and Mana Regeneration, also allows setup for Conduit Overdrive (take note that Eul's will dispel Conduit Staff)
Force Staff - Great positioning item for supports in general.
Glimmer Cape - Great survibability item for supports in general. Use to break vision to cast Conduit Overdrive safely.

Late Game


Scythe of Vyse - For focusing down heroes late game. Can also be used as setup for Conduit Overdrive.
Aghanim's Scepter - Increases the value of Unlocked Potential! exponentially especially when buffing/debuffing multiple heroes.
Octarine Core - Decreases cooldown of abilities, pairs well with Level 25 Cooldown Reduction talent.

Lore

Being the daughter of one of the greatest wizards of all time can be a big responsibility. That is what Audrey was constantly being told by her father's advisers. That's why most of her childhood was spent reading and studying magic. For Audrey, this was certainly not the life that she expected, especially when her father is out there, actually using his magic for the benefit of the world.

Inheriting the most useful trait of her father, his stubbornness, Audrey decides to steal one of her father's magical artifacts and then leave the prison she called home. Out of everything that was displayed in her father's armory, one particular object stood out. Audrey was drawn into the artifact calling out to her, whispering to her that it will grant her power. The artifact was mounted on the wall, with a label "Conduit Staff" and a note below the label reading: "Do not feed". The Conduit Staff was doing its best to tempt Audrey into wielding it so that it can consume her and it succeeded. But as Audrey held the artifact, she felt a rush of power, a spring of life, as if she was being charged by the artifact. The Conduit Staff wanted to consume her mana but instead it was the one being consumed. Her overwhelming power gave the Conduit Staff a strike of nostalgia, reminding it the first time it got wielded by Audrey's father.

Both of them had the desire to escape and so they did. With her new found freedom, Audrey roamed around the world helping out anyone that she can, so that she can fulfill her responsibility as a Wizard's daughter. The Conduit Staff only had one goal in mind, consuming as much mana as it can, so that when it meets the Wizard who enslaved it once again, it will make sure that it will not be overwhelmed for the third time.

First hero concept that I've shared on the site~

I really enjoyed looking at other people's concepts here and with the contest coming up, I figured why not put some ideas of my own.

Feedback is appreciated especially tips on formatting and balancing.
