Astaroth, the Hellion Prophet, is a Dire Intelligence Hero who bears some similarities to both Oracle and Shadow Demon, while also possessing elements of Visage and Spectre. She is a powerful teamfighter and carry who can control the flow of combat.

"I am both seer and bringer of a shrouding bleak."
Role: Durable, Nuker, Semi-Carry, Disabler

Base Health: 492
Base Mana: 312
Base Armour: 4
Base Damage: 51-53
Base Attack Time: 1.7
Range: 450
Movement Speed: 300
Sight: 1800/800

Strength: 70.5 (18 + 2.1)
Agility: 73 (23 + 2)
Intelligence: 84 (24 + 2.4)

Lore:
The Seven Lords of the Seven Hells war against each other constantly, plotting and scheming. Lucifer rages against Azgalor; Asmodeus against Belphegor, Eredar against Nevermore, and Terrorblade the foe of all. One demon has made it her business to profit from these rivalries. Astaroth, taking the long-forgotten title of Hellion Prophet, approves of the pun. So much has she influenced the politics of the Seven Hells that whispers from the lesser demons say that it is Astaroth that is the true lord of Hell.

This is not true... yet. The Lords of Hell reward her with every blessing she gives them and the resultant confusion has left all confused of how powerful Astaroth actually is. Only the Hellion Prophet herself knows her limits, and her powers are exceeded only by her ambition. Someday, perhaps soon, perhaps later, Astaroth will reveal herself for not the servile creature she pretends to be, but for the conniving abomination her black heart shows.

Q: Arrogance Bane
Target: Enemy unit
Damage: Magical
Pierces Spell Immunity: No
Astaroth turns the target's pride to lay them a deadly trap. After 2.5 seconds, the target is stunned and takes damage. Conversely, Astaroth gains increased damage and movement speed for a brief duration.
Damage: 100/150/200/250
Stun Duration: 1/1.4/1.8/2.2
Increased Damage: 20/31/42/53
Increased Movement Speed: 5%/8%/11%/14%
Duration: 5/7/9/11
Cooldown: 20/18/16/14
Mana Cost: 100/115/130/145

The Hellion Prophet turns the powers of Doom on her foes.

W: Harvest
Target: Enemy unit
Damage: Magical
Pierces Spell Immunity: Yes
Severs a part of the target's soul and absorbs it into Astaroth. The target takes damage, and Astaroth gains a Soul Charge. Each Soul Charge grants her damage reflect and bonus armour.
Soul Charge Duration: 30
Damage: 50/80/110/140
Bonus Armour per Soul Charge: 1/2/3/4
Damage reflect per Soul Charge: 2%/3%/4%/5%
Cooldown: 4
Mana Cost: 70

A gift of power from the Shadow Fiend, Astaroth feasts on the souls of her foes and takes their energies as well.
Can be cast on magic immune units, granting a Soul Charge but dealing no damage.
Reflected damage is blocked by spell immunity.

E: Dark Bargain
Target: No target
Damage: Pure
Pierces Spell Immunity: Yes
Astaroth calls to a higher power, rendering her immune to all disabling effects and absorbing a percentage of the damage she takes for a short duration. After the effect expires, the absorbed damage is dealt to Astaroth.
Absorbed Damage: 10%/15%/20%/25%
Duration: 4/5/6/7
Cooldown: 60/55/50/45
Mana Cost: 150

The Hellion Prophet calls in an old favour with Belphegor.
The damage from Dark Bargain can be lethal.
Damage absorbed is still reflected via Harvest.
    This effect can be purged.

Ultimate: Seeking Shadows
Target: No target
Damage: Magical
Pierces Spell Immunity: Yes
Astaroth sacrifices a percentage of her Health to summon a dark shadow to hunt out the target unit, dealing base damage plus a percentage of the sacrificed Health. Any enemy units that come into contact with Seeking Shadows are purged and take a quarter of the damage dealt to the main target.
Sacrificed Health: 12%
Base Damage: 100/175/250
Sacrificed Health to Damage: 75%/100%/125%
Purge Duration: 1.5/2.25/3
Cooldown: 20
Mana Cost: 175/225/275

The touch of Eredar's greed hunts down the foes of Astaroth.
Seeking Shadows move at 500 movespeed towards their target, ignoring terrain.
Sacrificed health cannot be reflected through Harvest.
    Fully affects spell immune units.

You'd be surprised how much Wikipedia research on demonology I did to make this one.

I was thinking, what would you build on her? Would you go tanky to capitalise on Harvest and Seeking Shadows? Or would you take advantage of her item independance and go for utility?

I legit have no idea o:o

I was thinking Mek into Bloodstone into Heart, mayhap. Pick up a Shivas or Vyse after that. Her damage is awesome by default, but she'd burn through a ton of mana very quickly, hence the Bloodstoned. Basically build like an Int Spectre I guess.

At first glance I thought Harvest was OP as hell, but it's really not. I like how all her skills are calling in favors from other demon lords, it really sells the flavor.
