If you're Opting for Vendetta to be a bigger Nuke then a Dagon and Vendetta then get Orchid Malevolence (30% of physical damage dealt during the duration will apply after the silence ends as Bonus Damage so it ignores damage block and Resistances and Armor) though Timing it with the Medallion might get tricky if you're not fast enough though nice guide +1

Well, I tried out your build and made some changes I think are better.
I tried getting a skadi instead of desolator since u already have medallion and assault and it works.
The +stats are truly effective for nyx. My final build looked something like this :
BoT
Assault
Skadi
Bloodstone
Medallion
Butterfly

Very nice build +1
Btw u should tell mention in the guide that medallion should be used on the target before u go into invi (since it has an unbelieveably long range) to avoid confusion as on how to use it.

While I agree dagon isn't a good Nyx item, I think some of your item choices are too hard carry (mjollnir, basher) and some are too supportive (euls). In competitive games Nyx will typically not get farm, but when he does it's sheepstick.

Also, mask of madness is probably bad. I see the synergy some might see with carapace, but it's a generally bad item and probably even worse with Nyx's burst playstyle.

Otherwise, bloodstone MoC is very nice if standard (I know no other build here has them, but it's how he's played in even remotely high level pubs). Good to finally have a guide with an actual Nyx item build here.

Thanks!

Yeah, that Mjollnir/Basher/Euls build is kind of ********. It was more of a thing for poorly comped teams in pub All-Pick. I think I will remove that.

Mask of Madness would be something you would only go in extremely unique situations where you have to take over carrying as Nyx. And you're right, even in that situation, Vlads would probably benefit him better anyways. I tried it in one game, and it worked out surprisingly well, but again... as long as you're out-farming, anything can do fine in pubs :\

Thanks for your comments, I will go back and change a few things.

The reason why you get Dagon is much like the reason why you get Midas. It pays off over time as you get more kills. However, this does not mean you should always get Dagon 5 since thats extremely expensive and unnecessary. Usually Dagon 1 is all you need and you should start working on other items from there on.

However, this build is still very viable and reasonable since you are focusing more on supporting/semicarrying instead of just an assassin. The only things I do not agree with is the hard carry items like Desolator, Phase, and Daedalus since you will not be autoattacking that much in teamfights. It would be much better on a real designated carry instead of a ganker like Nyx since he is too squishy for it and items like that are both selfish and unhelpful to you. Two items I would recommend thinking about adding to the guide are Drum of Endurance, since the aura is great for your team and the cost-effectiveness in addition to the +ms are great for just about any hero, and Ethereal Blade since it can help you deal much more damage.

About the guide itself, you should add more color to it and add icons to items you are talking about like Dagon
Code:
[[Dagon]]
Still, very well written and I liked it so +1.

Thank you very much!

The reason for buying Desolator actually isn't for Nyx exclusively. It is more for your teammates to use the 16 second long -6 armor debuff.

The Daedelus build is kind of just a **** around thing, not very viable, just kind of situational in pubs. I should probably just take it out of the guide entirely.

I actually have used Drum of Endurance on Nyx before. It is very good, you're right. I just feel like you shouldn't dilly-dally with those early game items too much. I should add that in for sure though.

Thanks again for your comment. I will definitely add in some aesthetics to the guide and take into consideration what you said about items.
