Let's say, for example, that you choose Outworld Devourer in a pub match and claim mid. Then, one of your lovely teammates chooses Pudge and claims mid as well (wow, you'd think this had actually happened to me). The Pudge won't move so you, as OD, must take a side lane. What is the basic strategy when laning with a support against two heroes? Please be rather in depth. I already know to Imprison the heck out of 'em.

you farm farm farm like you do in mid. just now you are in the carry position instead of mid.
imprison is an amazing setup spell, its basicly a longer shadow demon disruption that doesnt scale into late game.

he actually was put in the sidelane in professional dota when OD was played more, but now mekanism isnt that good on him anymore becouse of tranquil change and becouse buckler doenst proc the aura anymore.

Let's say your support is as stupid as the Pudge and decides to take as much farm as possible. How do you recover from an early loss of farm?

OD isnt a hero that plays well from behind, he is made to win his lane 1v1, and is the strongest at it apart from maybe lone druid.

and well supports shouldt take any farm from the carry, but you should have pretty massive base damage so you should be able to farm even if the support is trying to take it.

if it still happens and you need BKB that game try to get it ASAP, becouse it enables you to atleast fight.
