My first match with Jakiro and I won this game, having nice stats. I don't know why I went for Veil of Discord without Arcane Boots, but I was probably following Valve build + my Dota knowledge was terrible these days. It was like my 8th ever match in MOBA gaming.

My favorite one was when I was playing Centaur Warrunner. It was a tight fight the entire game. The moment that changed the game was when the other team pretty much just disappeared off the map. We all ran to Rosh; with me even burning my ult when our first player caught sight of their supports outside of Rosh. They had a messy fight outside of Rosh while I went all YOLO and blinked into the pit. I noticed that Rosh was low and stomped, stunning their Ursa who actually had a Divine on him. I took the last hit on Rosh and then grabbed the aegis. Basically robbing them of their hard work.

I then just man fought the Ursa getting him low till he finally popped my aegis. During the respawn timer; he left the pit to try and clean up my team mates. I respawned and jumped out of the pit and stunned him again. Followed by my double edge and right clicks; killing him. I then grabbed the Divine and joined my surviving team members on our escape to our t2 tower.

Even then; it was just a slow grinding push to victory. Yet one Rosh changed the stalemate into momentum for my team.

This is one of my favourite recent games. Except the DotaBuff page really dopesn't tell the story very well at all.

http://dotabuff.com/matches/678714024

At around 20 minutes we had only two outer towers remaining where they had lost none. Our Ember Spirit had phase and just completed drums. He didn't get his (first) battlefury until 30 minutes. For the first half of the game the highest net worth was on Sven by about 3k next was nature's prophet then enigma then me on Leshrac. So our two highest farmed heroes were the supports by a long margin. Although the DotaBuff doesn't really show it this was one hell of a comeback. We were even on experience but way behind on gold.

I got an early bloodstane, then BoT to deal with the split push. It ended up with me out split pushing the Prophet but still managing to get to team fights. This was no AFK split push. It was all about creating space for Ember to try and catch up. So I wasn't committing to towers I was just chipping away at them.

Some really clutch plays by Magnus and Enigma won us the team fights. Some credit has to go to ember for being able to catch up after such a horrendous start and I think we were a little lucky that Tiny went support, he started as a carry. If he had got Aghs it could have been a different story.

Just to show how misleading DotaBuff is with this game at 55 minutes I'm still 5k ahead of our Ember but in those last minutes he manages to catch up. By me sacrificing myself 3 times. Ok maybe the last 3 deaths were a bit of a feed. But if you're gonna feed; when the game is practically over is the best time to do it.

All in all a real roller coaster of a game with some really clutch team fights.

Lanes were

Leshrac Ember Spirit vs Tiny Rubick Dire Safe Lane
Magnus vs Ogre Magi Mid
Mirana vs Sven Radiant Safe Lane
Enigma vs Nature's Prophet Jungle
