This guide makes no sense at all...

Mask of Madness? He has this skill Curse of Avernus.

Sange? He has this this skill too.

Yasha? He also has this skill too.

Heart? He is not just a tank only, HE IS A HYBRID DURABLE AND SEMI-CARRY.

Having this skill a Mist Coil, this does not mean that he is not a semi-carry.

---

Armlet is just an optional for fast kill... And also... Survival in the middle game, possibility in early middle game too.

---

Black King Bar is a situational against disable, you MUST... MUST have this! You are a damned hybrid mobility and semi-carry!

Assault Curi*** is a situational against DPS carries again, their armor and your AS.

Monkey King Bar is a situational for anti-evasion and anti-teleport.

Skull Basher / Abyssal Blade are just a situational for cashing and anti-VERY attack speed only.

Aghanim's Scepter is just a situational when you have problem with a lot of nukers / dps.

Maelstorm / Mjollnir are just a situational for FAST KILL and ANTI-ARMOR

---

Rejected:

- Orchid? Ask your team.
- Hex? Ask your team.
- Any support? ASK YOUR DAMN TEAM!

---

Shadow Blade is just A TACTICAL for AMBUSH and SURVIVAL only.

---

What the hell he needs this items; ONLY TWO ITEMS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT in all games:

- Satanic (because he does not need this damn Heart of Tarrasque)
- Boots of Travel (he needs this for pure mobility)

You choose any situational and optional items, choose four items only.

Skill builds:

Max Mist Coil!!! You do not have enough mana for shield in the early game neither in the damn middle game! Just steal kills and help team to survive until it is a late game. Always make suicide for good purposes only.

I'm not sure what's happening with everything being doubled... Must be a site glitch, as every time I look at it, edited or viewed, it shows as it should.

@Mazer Rackham => I will have to try out Radiance. Your thoughts are solid, and coincide with what I have been noticing in my play recently with him. People seem to leave him until last, or will attack him until his ulti goes off and then leave him be for a while, all the time means extra Radiance damage. I will post my findings soon hopefully!

Consider building Vlads instead of MoM (you can go both if you want!) if your team has a proper melee carry. You can build tranquil boost first and disasseble them into vlads components. Vlads provides a very nice aura that helps with pushing / damage and lifesteal!

Also while situational Abaddon is probably one of the best radiance holders as I've found he is pretty much ignored and left for last in team fights. Don't forget radiance is especially good versus blink dagger initiators.

Great guide! +1 Only thing, everything is doubled here, there are identical tabs, so it must be some kinda bug X) Overall, good job!

Hi. I like your build idea (that is, to get as much dps, lifesteal and movement speed while ditching survivability items on him), because if U get tank items for abaddon, smart people just tend to ignore him completely since his ulty turns on and that makes this hero only tank/support and, to be honest, there are much better heroes for these roles than abaddon. However, Building him as dps and low helth (no tank items+ items like mask of madness that makes him even more tempting target), u can squeeze maximum effect of your ultimate (if they try to ignore u, you get free high damage hits and if they try to focus u down fast, your ulty activates and u are almost instantly healed and invulnerable for its duration). That being said, its wise to focus on damage itmes (crystalis and skull basher are the best for abaddon) + lifestal (MoM is the obvious choice given the increased damage taken and attack speed to synergize with crystalis crits and skullbasher stuns), but vlads offering should also be noted in the optional itmes section, because it could be useful if enemy team choses to ignore u when your ulty activates despide the high damage u do (u need to heal yourself during the duration of your ulty or else you would be killed shortly afterwards). As for urn of shadows, I like the itme myself and use it with a lot of heroes, but I found that getting talisman of valor for abaddon for mana regen is a better option, esp later in game, bearing the philosophy of this build in mind (use the active ability of the item on enemy carry and assault him with MoM active and skullbasher ;)), but your have to be more careful early game. Scepter is tepmting, but its too expensive and really useful if you already have high dps/lifesteal or else you just will be ignored for the duration of your ultimate dealing pitiful damage yourself and easily killed after your ulty is over. armlet is surprisingly great, but its apt to be fixed in upcoming patches I guess, and the armot it gives is not really desirable. So yeh, going "berserker" (inviting damage, doing damage) with abaddon is really effective and, more importantly, great fun.

brewmaster is good against him from what I can think of.

His storm spirit should be able to disenchant those pesky spells of his.

@R_a_y

Well, I only play in pubs, so maybe that's why it feels that way? I hadn't seen anyone play Abaddon yet after his release, as I've been lucky and been able to take him each time so far, so these are my thoughts and if they line up with others, then so be it?

As you can tell from my build I don't have drums in it, and SnY are optional (and something I still haven't actually tested yet), so that wasn't really my reasoning for taking MoM. It's really because Abaddon's ulti (and Aphotic Shield's minor invulnerability) basically removes the drawback from MoM and turns it (at least partially) into a benefit.

I've tried Power Treads once since I made this guide and I'm still unsure, still needs more testing right now.

Still a work in progress.

Thanks!

I feel like you are parroting pub builds. Only reason to get Mom + Phase is to combine with drum and SnY to move very fast.
