Hi All,

As I'm sure most of you know, there has been a major update on the original dota1. Changes which WILL be implemented (once Dota1 is balanced and stable) into Dota2.

We may find more changes in Dota1, before it joins us in Dota 2, but clearly some of the changes have been made for dota2 client - with some heroes getting heavily buffed for the faster pace of dota 2 compared to dota 1.

Let's have a look at some of the major changes we may find in the dota2 client, and it's major impact on the current meta. Your thoughts?

Some of the interesting changes are the debuffs -
anti mage, now has a slightly longer cast time to blink, with compared to other blinkers was very quick! he also has a reduced MS

Dark Seer as expected was heavily debuffed - particularly vacuum - longer cd, smaller AOE, and unfortuantely the naga sleep, vacuum combo will not work anymore! :D

pandaren - his ulti will now be affected by blackhole - a natural addition, as brewmaster was a bit op and a solid counter for an enigma pick!

doom bringer - has been buffed to better suit the competitive scene! his Devour now has a lower mana cost per level, and he can now grab any creep at any level. which means Centaurs will be on the menu at the 00:30 mark, making him now a very strong viable mid/gank hero. troll warlords will also be popular for the pushing power, and net disable!

Drow Ranger has had some LATE game buffs, with storng aura, and max level ulti and slow being buffed. a good boost for pubs, though level 16 is a long way in the competitive scene, not too sure there.

Kunkka's ghoast ship now has a measely 40 second cd at level 3, clearly trying to boost his impact on the competitive scene, I will expect to see him more now, with the ulti also being slightly bigger!

popular carries, lycanthorpe Morphling and Naga Siren have all been debuffed, to give a chance to the not so popular carries, as well as Nature's Prophet's treants being debuffed. We might see the average game las that little bit longer, with popluar carries not having a huge impact very early game.

All my most interesting buff of them all Spirit Breaker
Spirit Breaker
- Base strength increased by 6
- Damage increased by 9
- Charge of Darkness no longer gives a buff indicator
- Charge of Darkness speed increased from 425/500/575/650 to 600/650/700/750
- Empowering Haste no longer increases Spirit Breaker's damage
- Empowering Haste movement bonus aura rescaled from 6/8/10/12% to 6/10/14/18%
- Greater Bash now deals damage based on your movement speed (10/20/30/40% of speed)
- Greater Bash duration increased from 0.95/1.15/1.35/1.55 to 1/1.2/1.4/1.6
- Fixed Greater Bash not affecting magic immune units

If you can read and understand this - greater bash now deals 40% of MS, assuming you have NO items, with a 290 base MS, at level 4 that's 116 dmg a bash - + now your passive, treads, mask of madness, drum etc - and his ulti performs a greater bash AND the buff indicator has been removed. Bara will now see competitve work, being able to destroy solo heroes very quickly (and get there very quickly too).. this will be interesting to see if it works in dota 1! new build
charge,bash,bash,charge,bash,ulti,bash,passivex4 ??

Any thoughts on my thoughts, and thoughts on other buffs to heroes (such as snipers?)
