I have to say the same thing with Nubtrain here, why Diffusal and Ethereal Blade?
Diffusal, I could quite understand but, you already got lots of slows, no need to overkill.
But Ethereal? No no no no no, you only use Ethereal to heroes who rely on their skills to deal damage.
(e.g. Morphling and Tinker)

Maxing out your Poison Attack is good, but for me, I would let it stay on 3 instead until I get to Level 9. Why? To reduce the mana cost.
I'd also get some early levels of Corrosive Skin if I'm getting harassed at the early stages.

Agreed with the ethereal like i said to nubtrain however diffusal is more of a mana burn utility for versing heroes like pudge who have low mana that can be easily and fastly burnt away by the hyperstone and diffusal combo as well as power tread attack speed, diffusal also adds nice base damage and some mana regen we need as viper from level 16-22ish.

As for my reasons for maxing out poison i find the extra damage is a great harass and if done right you wont need Corrosive skin because the enemy (albeit depending on the hero) should be forced in a position where they cant harass you. However depending on if you are side laning corrosive could be a better position if your lane mate isnt quite up to speed

Why diffusal and etherael blade? With etherael blade, Viper doesn't have anything as strong as Morphling's shotgun combo and doesn't synergize well since he needs to tank/attack. Viper already has poison attack for slow so it's kind of a waste. Would buy as situational instead of core

Agreed, I had never really tried it but my friend said to add it in..after trying this ive changed the guide sticking to what i build usually, thanks for the feedback
