Frederick

The Husked Rifleman

Lore:

"I love the smell of rotting flesh in the evening"

Roles:

Carry | Initiator | Escape

Wars and battles are already waged even before the clashing of the ancients. From territory to power, no war ever waged as it's reason, but for Frederick, he do this for fun. Rebellious even since he stepped out from childhood, he was fascinated by all things malign. As a kid he doesn't have a temper, always in a fist fight, always dangerous. He was drafted to war and with it he discovered something about himself, he strives for carnage, havoc, death and destruction. He trained under the Lion Battalion, through it he got hold of his first rifle. He battled in numerous wars, gaining notoriety because of his brutal methods, even making a bomb that would suffocate his enemies. However, his reign won't last, a good shot, a headshot hit him. As he lay down on the ground, he heard a whisper, a whisper of command and power. But ever the rebellious man he resisted it, but it was too late, his mind maybe he's but not his body, the Dirge claim it for it's own but it gave Frederick all the powers he needs. As the dust settle and the final shot fired, he walks away, nothing but a husk of his former self but ever powerful, as the last soldier in the field.

Hero Discussion

Concept:
So the concept of a soldier hero is a bit of a hard thing to pull off without using the cliche' righteous warrior thing. The dirge and the dead god is a very unexplored part of Dota lore. A gun user is also something I like to have but has a very different gameplay altogether.

Ways to play:
Frederick can be a ranged frontliner or a supportive character based on what spell you prioritize. Maximizing both Bayonet Charge and Blitzkrieg can make him a very aggressive frontliner especially against other ranged heroes like Drow, Sniper and even Gyro. With Blitzkrieg he can also fight in equal terms with Heroes like Sven, Troll and Monkey King. For these gameplay one can use right click heavy items like Daedelus, MKB and ways to protect himself like BKB, Linkens, Assault Cuirass and even Aeon Disk.

On the other hand, a caster Frederick is also a good way to play the hero. Maximizing Sensfgas and using Elimination Chamber can be a good way to box out characters and have a huge potential for combos.WIth this build Frederick can buy items for mana and spell damage like Kaya and Aether Lens. For defensive options he can use Ghost Scepter, Glimmer Cape and even Shiva's Guard.

Q damage is pretty high. If I understand the skill correctly, you can do ~715 physical damage at level 7. Average damage the hero has at level 7 is 94 (not counting items). The first hit does 188 damage, the second hit does 238 damage, and the third hit would do 288 damage. All of these are in very rapid succession and from range, meaning the hero sacrifices nothing for a HUGE output.

W duration is unspecified.

For his ultimate, what is the duration of the damage resistance reduction.

For the Q I acknowledge it I may remove the 2 bonus damage and sticking with 1 all for the same 2 attacks.

W and R sorry I forgot will add it.
