Erebus

The Shadow Druid

Lore

Becoming a Mad Moon druid takes 30 years of solitude in the Dark Wood. Erebus was one of the few who stood the test. Here it is - the last day. Erebus began to return to the village, but the Dark Wood wasn't ending. Suddenly, he heard the familiar mantra and went to the voice. Erebus spotted eleven druids who praise the Mad Moon. He came closer to greet them but found out eleven copies of himself. They repeated the same phrase all the time - the light shows a lot, the darkness gives a lot, but the shadows more. Erebus has heard this phrase in his every dream for 30 years. Using his staff, Erebus devoured all the energy, creating total emptiness and found that the Mad Moon had split into Radiant and Dire. He was in a split shadow reality. Radiant ore could bring him back to his normal reality, direstone could make him powerful, but he knew - the shadows give more. Erebus picked up both a radiant ore and a direstone, destroying them, but having opened the gates between dimensions. Every copy from eleven dimensions leaves the Dark Wood - Erebus became the druid.

Erebus, the Shadow Druid, is a ranged intelligence hero. The main power of Erebus is not the plain damage dealing from spells, but the spells gameplay variation. Shadow Masquerade, the first skill, completely disorients enemies who can unknowingly kill their allies. Bloodletting, the second spell, allows you to dispel the negative effects of yourself and allies, or purge positive effects to enemies. This spell terrifies enemies if you have more intelligence than them. Distortion Aura, the third spell, reduces enemy intelligence strengthening the Fear duration, and provides them a chance to fail their abilities. Blackout, the ultimate, besides disorienting from the first spell, allows you to destroy any enemy plans for a fight positioning. Knowledge of Erebus's skills is key to use him at his full potential.

Shadow Masquerade is a cool idea but can effective units only attack each other or can their spells also hit allies? I think a little damage or a slow or something would be good to add because it feels a little weak and gimmicky.

The Gluttony stack talent shouldn't add max stack count but should allow hits to apply 2 stacks up to double to maximum amount, or something similar. As a support character, I imagine it would be difficult to get 8 hits off on a single target.

Thx for reply. Shadow Masquerade includes all options for friendly fire. About Gluttony stacks - talents tree is divided into 2 branches - support branch and core one. Core branch grants + 100 attack speed, so 8 stacks can be easily achieved.
