Hi there, Gil Bot

a realy interesting guide. I especially found the match-up section quite interesting.

Just two questions/suggestions:
How do you rationalize your 1-1-1 build at level three? From my experience going either 1-0-2, 0-1-2 or even 2-0-1 in a defensive situation is much more benefitial to your lane. Stats wise the level in wex doesn't bring anything and the level-1 exort alacrity is a lot weaker compared to level-2. So why would you do that? Genuinly interested.

Second question would be, how you can call the -18s cd for tornado "quite useless"? With Octarine Core it goes to 9s. You can push out every single lane by yourself, from your base, make going high-ground against you a nightmare, because you can have enemies in the air for a third the time and your can chain combos together nearly endlessly. I've become a huge fan of the Tornado CDR and had great success with it, so maybe this can give you some ideas to reconsider it's usefullnuess.

I realy don't want to make this sound like flaming your build, but as hopefully constructive critizism. I do like everyone that likes Invoker.

I agree with this. The Tornado cooldown is really well for defending high ground and disabling. Before, I used to go for the A.O.E. Deafening Blast but I found that the Tornado cooldown comes in handy much more. To answer the first question, the use of Alacrity in general in lane just helps, regardless of the level. I, however, don't opt for it because it uses mana that I could use for other stuff.

Hey i m only 3.6 k but i aggree with most of what you said qas wex is much better now i think exort is less viable now i used to play pianist invoker back in the day but now i strugle to farm up and stay on top with levels and items enemy catch up to me realy fast and i lose impact very fast spelcaster battlemage is kind of dead.
But qas wex thats another story you can build as carry disabler initiator you can have big impact in ganks and come online with few levels and key items i think qas wex is stronger build overall in 7.01 but i m only a 3.6 k scrub so...

@mr.dark gouki

First of all thanks for reading my guide..

To be honest I don't of agree of what you've said. Exort Invoker is on equal footing with Quas- Wex but maybe you just don't understand the right situations to choose what type of Invoker will you play... As an exort focused invoker you should be farming most of the time in the early game to boost your gold gain and have a significant gold advantage from the enemy team and after that take objectives pushing towers to create map control... maybe you are not pushing and still farming even you have opportunity to push so your opponents can catch up because you are not taking map control away from them.

Just a little advice... keep practicing exort invoker.. don't give up.. you can't play quas-wex all of the time because not all of the possible enemy matchups can be applicable for a QW invoker... Have a good day

Hey Gil Bot!

There's a lot of in depth and interesting information here, props to you for writing all of that!

Here's a quick link to help you with formatting your guide - it helps a lot of you make your guide not only informative, but eyecatching and orderly.
Finally, I'd suggest a adding more detail to your "combos" section - answer questions like "when do I use which combo?" and "how do I know which spell to invoke?"

Cheers,
Sofa

Hey TheSofa!

Thanks for the link! I appreciate that. :)

Hmmm.. What spell to Invoke is basically depends on your personal preference but I think i'll add a few details on it.

Anyway thanks a lot

Hey, looks like you're missing marking your talent selection in your skill sequence at level 10 / 15 / 20 / 25, instead of just leaving them blank you can hit the talent row to indicate to take a talent at that level. :)

Also I noticed a little visual bug where lvl 13 / 14 seem to be overlapping in the skill display. Not your fault and I'm notifiying the devs so we can get that fixed up. Forgive us, Invoker is a special child.
