imho lifesteal is a must on fast autoattack-heroes. Shadowblade is too easy to counter with wards, gem or debuff (slardar, bounty) and as sniper you WILL get targeted. u cant carry without satanic.

Sure, phase boots are a good choise, but shadow blade increase the movment speed and this might be enough.

You could at least get phase boots, you have no survivability.

+ getting a wraith band is a waste of money in the beginning, get 2 circlets and you can get 2 tangos.

Imho life steal is for hero with a lot of life and expecially for melee like ursa, huskar, lycan ecc.
Heroes with little life like sniper don't need life steal because they shouldn't be in the centre of the team fight and if someone target them they'll die except that with a good escape mechanism like shadows blade.

I don't get your reasoning for no lifesteal. Sniper has no survivability, so we give him some.
