Your DOTABuff account - (If you don't have one, go here http://www.dotabuff.com/pages/enabling-statistics). I won't know who you are when you turn up if your Steam name is different to your DOTAFire name. You can either post it in the comments below or tell me if it's in your profile.
Confirmed/Unconfirmed (can you definitely play at this time or not?) Don't hesitate to put yourself down as Unconfirmed, there's no penalty for not showing up, especially when you're only saying you might show up. If you out yourself down as Unconfirmed, but later find out you'll definitely be coming that day, you can change to Confirmed if you want.
If you're not in the Group chat, not in the lobby and I haven't heard from you, we may start without you!
This is to prevent any delays, so make sure you're ready to start on-time, or you'll have to wait for Game 2. I will join the DOTAFire Steam Group Chat around 18:30 Luxembourg time, so if you experience any last minute delays, you can talk to me there.
1. Don't use high contrast bg (aka black/white/red etc.)
2. Don't use high contrast colours (use softer colours like red > light red)
I used one of Xyrus's Inhouse announcements and changed some things. I didn't have the time to format a new one so I went with the resources that I had on hand. I'll make a new one some other time.
US West? Kind of a **** move to europeans, they have much better ping on US east (100 vs 200-250 for me).
Hosting it on US West just just more convenient for me. If we want to host it on US East I don't see a problem with that either. I'll put up a poll to see which server is more preferred.
Well, I'm an american who plays in the European inhouses. My ping is about 200 on US East on a good day, and it's basically the same EU West. However, my ping on US West is about 400 on a good day.
If you're wondering, American ISPs have monopolized sections of the country so that they can offer worse service for more money. That's how I have this bad of internet. That's actually as good as it comes here.
Anyway, I'm good with anywhere, I'll have bad ping either way. Actually, playing at 9:30 AM is a very convenient time for me, so I actually have no need for american inhouses. I'd get better ping on European servers than US West.
I may be able to come late on Saturday, I have a cross country meet, and I can probably make it Sunday. Unconfirmed both days.
