So, what are people's expectations?

I think Secret are looking strong, but then EG and C9 are looking very good as well.

I saw Alliance's match this morning... ... It doesn't look good at all for them. Really hope they can get a better draft at least next game!

My bets for today, as for finals I think EG will take 1st place and C9 2nd, but I would like to see Alliance somewhere there (fanboy detected).

Fellow Alliance fanboy here! I hope they mix it up next game, they're so predictable at the moment.

I've been meaning to find out, why are there no Chinese teams? Surely NewBee would have been strong contenders?

Haha true, though i really like PieLieDie so i wouldn't mind them stepping up (if Alliance aren't going to!).

[A]'s draft was just not good and countered hard by tinker.

VP did really well against secret but they just got wrecked by the best western support and his DUNKS.

i didnt see EG vs tinker but looking at tinker's draft it was risky with very little comeback potential.

[A] pre-countered themselves! Picking Clockwerk when they did... It's almost like they had no idea's for a final pick either so they just went Naga Siren. Oh well. The only way is up!

Ah, thanks. I get the political slant, but not having enough time for visas/losing passports is a touch odd.

Ah, thanks. I get the political slant, but not having enough time for visas/losing passports is a touch odd.

there are a lot of people complaining about newbie, they have done this 2 or 3 times now, and essentially robbed other chinese teams of the change to play international LAN events by qualifing but dropping out due to not wanting/being able to play.
you cant ask a chinese team at the lest minute since thye wont be able to get visa's in time.

Great game this morning, C9 were so aggressive! Deserved the win in the end, just about.

Much better draft from [A]lliance today. Good to see them not drafting a 4 protect 1! I love Lod[A] on Slark as well.

Any game i get to see a pro play Earthshaker i am happy as well. Love that guy. Do him proud Misery!

Just DAT aggression. Don't think EG were ready for it at all. Nearly swung it back with them wipes mid-game though!
