You won't have enough attackspeed and damage to use the bash and the duration of the bash to great effect. Nor would you have enough HP to tank stuff.

For the skills you only should get rage at around lvl 5 not straight away. You should focus on FEAST and OPEN WOUNDS so that you can quickly get kills in lane.

Besides that your guide is good. :)

Armlet is the single most cost efficient dps item for any strength hero. It is exceptionally good on Lifestealer. You would be very foolish to skip it. Very foolish.

I like your guide. It helped me get started to use LS. Here is my item build for him after a little practice.. In order of purchase

Phase Boots - extra speed to gank early game
Vladmirs Offering - Aura Lifesteal stacked on top of Feast & Open Wounds
Armlet - With the extra Lifesteal from Vlad's Armlet's HP drain becomes a non issue
Shadow Blade - Extra attack speed + invisibility to gank
Mask of Madness - Orb Lifesteal stacked on Aura LS + Feast + Open Wounds
Satanic - If i buy this i sell the Mask. Two Orb LS's wont stack.....

Thats me now..

Cheers

This build misses attack speed. For that you can get Mjollnir. And some defense wouldn't be bad either.

Hey mat, Niax is my favorite character so Id love to give this guide a +1 but I don't know how yet. anyway, I was thinking, how come nobody puts anything in there for his sh***y mana pool? Personally I like to build a Battlefury so I ALWAYS have the mana to slow and rage (cleave is nice too), and since I build my armlet fist, only stepping out o buy some BoS I dont usually need the HoM? Just wondered if anybody else plays him that way?

Sorry what? First, infest doesn't affect enemy heroes. Second, Dark Seer's wall doesn't create friendly illusions. Third, if the Dark Seer was your teammate and he used Wall on the enemies, the enemy team would already be there and you'd know whether it was a fake or not.

Quoted:
Lifestealer is more powerful in a lane than in the jungle.

Quoted:
If you jungle lifestealer, you're a terrible player.

I hope every one knows who Ham is so...... I agree with anything he says

Lane is better for lifestealer. 70% slow is a guaranteed first blood in almost any lane. Laning also gives you about twice as much gold per minute as jungling.

Only take jungle if you have someone who can exploit a solo lane, otherwise just don't bother, you're weakening both yourself and your team.
