Is there anyway to get replays on Bot matches? I tried creating a lobby and playing that way but I still did not get replays.

Hey Las Edict!

If you've checked your match history and there are no replays, it probably means it's not possible to do so. :(

However, you mentioned you're playing via a lobby? I think if you play against bots via matchmaking then you will have replays for those matches.

Good luck and welcome to DOTAFire!

Thanks Hades4u
I have tried both by making a lobby and filling it with bots, and by using the "Practice With Bots" option. Why would this not be possible? I guess the question is more rhetorical than anything, just seems odd that that feature would not be available because bots were in the game.

I think it's because there are so many matches being played that the number of replays is too high for Valve to also have replays for bot matches.

That's why replays expire in time, that way they get deleted and they make space for new replays to be created.

I guess your single option is recording the matches yourself, but that isn't as effective as watching replays because you're only going to have your perspective. :(
