The build feels a bit too carry-ish / pre-patch. Viper no longer has any synergy with right-click since his rework. He's basically another Veno now IMO.

Why not go full nuker with Veil of Discord/ Aghanim's Scepter/ Ethereal Blade?

Aghs was bad on the old Viper but now it has a great synergy with his set, it gives his ult the same cast range as Nethertoxin.

I have seen people build Diffusal Blade when playing him magically to burn mana and use the slow to keep enemies in Nethertoxin

That's an interesting point. Viper has always been the durable right clicker that's annoying to deal with, not really focused too much on his magical damage.

I've checked the statistics and Veil of Discord has a win rate of 55% in over 20.000 matches, Ethereal Blade a whooping win rate of 70% in over 2.800 matches and finally Aghanim's Scepter as expected, a win rat of 59% in more than 330.000 matches, those are some impressive statistics!

I'll look into this play style and I might add it as an alternate play style to follow in the guide!

I have really enjoyed reading this guide as it is well-written and nicely organized.

What do you think of Nullifier on Viper? Extra slow, damage, armor, and you can't use items to escape e.g. Force Staff , Black King Bar , Shadow Blade , Heaven's Halberd , Manta Style and many more.
It also synergizes well with Orchid Malevolence against escape heroes since they can no longer use purge items to remove the silence and escape.

It actually sounds really good! I haven't experimented much with the new items, but it looks like an item that could fit Viper well. It's a bit expensive and quite difficult for Viper to save up 3800 gold for Sacred Relic, but I can see it working. Problem is that Viper isn't the fastest farmer and farming 3800 gold for Nullifier instead of getting some items to make yourself stronger might some times not be the way to go.

However, I can see it being a strong pick in some matches, I'll definitely try it and add it to the guide!
