Diffusal Slark?

So, I was thinking about Slark and what things you could do besides building the perfectly balanced Silver Edge on him and came up with Diffusal Blade. The item itself gives 20 or 10 (Depends on level) less attack speed and damage than the OSEdge but it's got a few key selling points:

-No secret shop required: Diffusal can be built with sending yourself or the courier to the secret shop, so if things aren't going to well, you don't have to take the risk of losing a courier or feeding the enemy.

-Support Killing/Chasing: Right-Click heroes like Slark tend to not like it when supports start getting a hold of cheap defensive items like Ghost Scepter or Glimmer Cape, the active on Diffusal makes sure this isn't a problem.

-No fun allowed: Dark Pact may cause Diffusal Blade to seem redundant, but it doesn't burn mana! Plus the boost to your attack speed it provides ensures you're getting more Essence Shift procs and burning away more and more mana.


So, I'll now turn it over to you guys, what do you think of Diffusal Blade on Slark?

It'd be good if Silver Edge wasn't an option.

Hating on Ghost Scepters, Glimmer Capes and Omniknight is a good reason to buy diffusal. That's about the only one though.

Other than that Silver Edge and the buffed Sange and Yasha are just better.
