Introduction

Nature's Prophet is a hero that many people know as an annoying hero or just a hero who farms the jungle non-stop. Well this isn't the case. Nature's prophet isn't a 24/7 farmer. Prophet is a versatile hero too. He's a pusher/jungler/ganker/semi-carry. He's also a very fun hero to play. Just ignore the people saying your making anti-fun in-game.

Skills

Sprout
Sprouts a ring of trees around a unit, trapping it in place.
Range: 600
Radius: 150
Duration: 3/3.75/4.5/5.25
Cooldown: 11/10/9/8 Mana: 100/120/140/160

Sprout is a nice kill typically used to trap a hero. Use it to trap a hero during a gank to prevent it from escaping. This isn't the only reason to use Sprout. If you need to spawn treants quickly, but there isn't many trees near you, then just use Sprout and the trees can provide a sufficient amount of treants. Also using Sprout from the low ground onto the high ground can give you vision.

Teleportation
Teleports to any point on the map.

Cooldown: 50/40/30/20 Mana: 50

Free teleport scroll. Use it for pretty much anything. Use it to gank, go back to farming, push lanes, attend teamfights/rosh, go back to base. It's what makes you annoying and good hero. One minute your in the jungle farming, another minute your backdooring the enemy's tier 2.

Nature's Call
Range: 750
Radius: 150/225/300/375
Number of Treants: 2/3/4/5
Treant Duration: 60

Cooldown: 37 Mana: 160

This is what makes you a great jungler/pusher. Use these to jungle (obviously), push/tank towers/rosh. If you got some nice micro you can control them and block an enemies path or body block to net a kill.

Wrath of Nature
Range: Global
Max Targets: 16 (18*)
Damage: 140/180/225 (155/210/275*)
Damage Addition per Bounce: 7%

Cooldown: 90/75/60 Mana: 150/200/250

This is what gets you LOADS OF MONEY$$$. In all seriousness however, this is a good pushing spell to use. Use it to push the lanes a bit more or lessen an anti-push. This does also help you farm. You must use it wisely. Don't just pop it every time it's off cooldown. Look to see if you are stealing vital farm from your carry. Look to see if there are a good amount of creeps with low hp on the map.

Items

Early Game

Ring of Basilius good regen and armor aura. Good for jungle.

Clarity you'll need them your whole early game to keep up your mana.

Urn of Shadows good item for more regen and hp. Good if you want more out of your ganks.

Medallion of Courage speeds up jungling and gives regen and armor. Great for dealing damage in ganks too.

Core

Scythe of Vyse regen, stats, and a hard disable...Getting it fast is game-breaking.

Desolator great damage item. -6 armor rips thru supports and tones down stronger heroes. Good for pushing towers too.

Mekansm only if no body else will get one. A fast mekansm is game-breaking too.

Late Game

Mjolnir provides you a nice orb (works with deso) to help farm/push more and deal more damage.

Necronomicon is great for pushing and de warding with true sight.

Orchid Malevolence is nice for a good silence and a decent damage item.

Daedalus makes you do even more damage.

Manta Style might seem wierd at first. However, it really is a good item on him. It provides some nice stats, illusions to cause confusion, pushing power, and remove negative buffs.

Situationals

Black King Bar provides magic immunity if you are in dire need of it.

Gem of True Sight is there to de ward and help catch invis heroes.

Animal Courier courier is there if you need to upgrade it for your team.

Force Staff great utility and the more the better.

Shadow Blade if you are constantly getting caught out pushing towers or farming you can use it to escape by teleporting and going invis. It's also a decent damage item.

Aghanim's Scepter please...please don't rush this item. Rushing this item might net you more gold but it makes you more useless. You're better off using that inventory slot to buy a hard disable or damage item. Only get scepter when you need the extra push if you know that your late game is terrible.

Summary

Starting Out

Starting out you want to get yourselves a Ring of Basilius and two Clarity to start your jungling. If your teammates are failures and didn't buy a courier, then it's up to you to get a courier. Instead of the full ring you'll get the Clarity , Sage's Mask. and Animal Courier. Around 0:40 BEFORE THE HORN, you want to spawn some treants and send it to the two rune spots if you know you will not have wards.

At 0:00 right when the battle begins, you want to spawn some treants again from the base. Then make your way to jungle. Remember once it hits 0:30 neutrals spawn. By the time neutrals spawn you want to make another set of treants and then fight the medium camp or small camp.

Early Game

Early Game you want to get the most out of jungle and ganks. At first, continue jungling till you get level 4. At level 4 you'll get sprout which makes you able to gank. You might want to get Boots of Speed first and flying courier if your supports are having a bad day.

You don't have to just gank when your teammates calls for one. Gank lanes that your teammates are already dominating. It's just more pressure for the enemy and more gold for you. However, you must prioritize failing lanes first. Ganking them will help your teammate get back on track and slow the enemy down a bit. From the ganks you hopefully should be able to get your Hand of Midas by around 9:00. This will accelerate your farm even more. Which creep you midas is usually up to you. Midas the more powerful neutrals for more exp. Midas the small neutral for more gold.

If your teammates are crying for ganks. Then it will be up to you to rescue them. You'll need to gank A LOT if your lanes didn't go well for you. The ganks will help slowly bring the gold advantage back up on your favor. Typically on a gank heavy game it's a good idea to get an Urn of Shadows or Medallion of Courage. Get an urn if you want some decent stats and regen and want a good heal and something to finish off low hp enemies. Medallion lets you deal more damage during a gank. It also helps you jungle/rosh. So medallion might be a good investment. However, if you get one of these this will delay your midas. It might delay it so much that you shouldn't get it. If you go past 10:00 the you shouldn't get a midas.

Ganking

So you wanna gank? Well it's not too much of a difficult task. Here's a list what to do in gank.

1. Tell your teammates your ganking when and which lane. DON'T JUST TELEPORT TO A LANE AND RAPIDLY PING. Your teammates not know it. Your teammates might be busy purchasing something or falling back to heal.

2. Ask who will stun first. Stun stacking is a big waste and can lead to the enemy getting away.

3. Make sure the enemy doesn't know your ganking. You shouldn't be too concerned with this since your not laning. However, still if you get caught by a jungle ward the enemy might run.

4. Make sure you and your teammates have enough mana and hp. So many times I have seen prophets teleport in and don't sprout. Someone asks them why and says, "Sorry no mana." Also make sure you have enough health if they fight back or you tower dive.

5. Execute the gank. Again say ganking now ping once or twice and then teleport. Then do your magic and boom you have a dead hero.

6. Unless you want to push the lane after the gank you should get out fast. Your stealing farm from teammates and also TP reactions might come in to chase you down.

7. Always give a positive remark. Just saying good job or a :D. Can help boost friendliness between teammates.

Mid Game

Mid game is the time when you want to focus on towers. Pushing down towers will be great for the gold advantage as well as more map control.

You want to start farming up a Scythe of Vyse, Desolator, and of course Power Treads. The fast sheep stick is devastating. You'll be able to do A LOT more in team fights. Your Sprouts won't do much since it's not a gank. Desolator gives you more damage and pushing power. The -6 armor further increases team fight threat and tower pushing.

With these two items you could also look out for lone heroes just farming. Your sheep stick and desolator gives you a good chance to kill them. Especially if they are squishy.

If you want to go on more of a support path then Mekansm is a great choice! A fast mekansm again can turn teamfights.

Late Game

Late game is the time where you get to be even more annoying. Push lanes by yourself and your ultimate and again try to look for pick-offs.

Late game you want to pressure towers as much as you can and try to take down any remaining tier 2's for more map control for your team to roam around. You also want to team-fight more. Now with even more items your damage output and presence is extreme. You are a force of nature to be reckoned with.
