This is my first guide and i m not good at using this ******** guide editer so plese bare with me guys! it will be very brief such as there wont be any skill info and hero history! Ok lets skip the **** and here it's goes!
Excellent pusher
Diffcult to find the real target
Hard to kill (escape ability)
Highest agility gain hero in game
Fairly squishesat the start
Doom when enemy team had lots of diable/stun
Very late carry (need to be well farmed inorder to be useful)
Very weak killing potnetial (i.e must have helped from teammate to gank sucessfully at the start of game)
Aoe can stop the pushing momentum of pl very easily
Spirit Lance must max first due to this skill is the only active skill pl can use for fight! When facing squishes enemy ranged heroes you can use this skill to harass them back, lets yourself have time to recover/or also allow you to regain lane control (i.e last hit) for a short period of time. Its slow ability is not scale well at the start but it become essential in the mid/late game!
Dopplewalk is a must to pick at lv 2 as this skill is your main escape mechanism when you face danger or getting away from dangerous earlly ganks! However its cooldown is very long and vey high mana cost for a carry (150 for lv 1). Therefore use this skill wisely or otherwise you'll end up feeding like hell! Do remember you only need to put 1 point at this skill as its 15% running speed bonus is fix so maxing it out is not very skill efficient!
Juxtapose This is the core skill of phantom lancer as it allows you to create your phantom mass army not just fo pushing but also for teamfight, 1v1 and escape mechanism when ganked! Although its effect is not obvisous at the start (12% illusion) but when you start snowballing towards the late game you will find out that this skill sucessful rate is what it seems! (1 waves of creeps normally gives you 5 illusions or more)!
The downside is this skill is a passive skill so that you cant not creates the illusions on your own will but this is not a problems and I will talk about it later!
Phantom Edge Again this skill is not useful compare to other heros' ultimate at the very start of them game but when you reach toward the mid/late game You will thanks for its increase chance of creating illusion plus Additional creation chance for your illusions to creates a copy of themself! Yes they CREATE IMAGES OF THEMSELF!! This is a very OP ultimate and if that is not enough! Your get a Total of 20% Magic resistance! Yes 20% extra Mother Fxxking Magic Resistance! This skill will Transform you into a unstoppable beast! The amount of armor you get from stats gained and the magic resistance it provideed give you like 6X% physical resistance and 4X magic resistance! This is Fxxking huge for a carry!
Ring of protcetion is a must at the start of the game as it gives you bonus 2 armor! This item must be purchases 1st as you can not purchases it at the side shop! It will become a part of your Tranquil boots!
Quelling blade is very useful for you to last hit but if you are very good at last hitting then you can skip this item and spend it on somethig else or saving it for later purchases!
Tango Well this item no need for discription as its speaks for itself
Boots of speed For greater movement speed (for chase or escape)
Tranquil boots I personally perfer Tranquil boots then Power treads due to its bonus speed, armor and most importently the hp regeneration it offers and this pair of boots make you stay in lane for longer and the bonus speed gained is excellent for chasing to finishes off the enemy hero when combine with spirit lance to gain 1st blood!
Bracer It is a essential item for pl as aerly game pl is squishes and bonus strength gain make him a bit more tankier and more surviability! This item is later build into Drum of endurance that provides extra speed, extra mana regen and chasing/escape ability for early ganks!
Drum of endurance perfect item for pl with its extra speed to pick of weak enemy hero when chasing or esacpeing a fatal gank!
Diffusial Blade core item for pl for chasing enemy hero and the mana sucking ability scale really well when facing intellengece/strength hero and this is your bread and butter item as pl have no disable ability and when combine it with spirit lance this will ensure you to get kills like taking a walk in a park! But do remember use it wisely as it only contains 10 cahrges!
Yasha another must item for pl as it offer bonus movment speed for chasing and escaping! this is later build into a Mantas
Mantas is again a must for pl as pl can not create his illusion at will this item allows you to do just that! Also more illusion means more pushing and escping ability! With this you will see enemies' towers falling into dust with second! it is very useful in 1v1 situration that it can help you turn the tide against your enemy!
Heart of Tarrasque This item is amazing as it doesnt just provide you with extra health, your illusions also gain the effect and with this item you are prettymuch unstoppable and driving your team into victory!
At this rate you pretty much domniating and therefore these items are pretty much luxary items
Skull basher absolutely op item, at this rate you problely end up killing an enemy every time you hit them! the will just stand still without even knowking how they got kiled!
Aby***el Blade an upgraded version of sKull basher! Again same effect but with great power and the active stun preety much ensure certain death to your enemies! It also prvide the second highest damage within the game!
Butterfly Very luxary item! But I dont suggest getting butterfly before Aby***el blade as Aby***el Blade scale a lot better than Butterfly!
Radiance Absolutly Sxxx item for pl in my opinon! sxxx damage (65 damage) and it cost tons of gold 5150! you use that money to spend on a more useful item such a mantas! i ve once played with noob that purchases this item and he is then become absolutly useless for the rest fo the fxxking game and makes us lost!
Power tread As i mention before Traquel boots scale better in the long run as it provides extra hp regen for pl to stay in lane longer, extra armor and movement speed really outweight the benefit that power tread provides! It also cost less and easier to obtain!
Shadow Blade for obvious reason
BKB Although this item is a must for every other hero but this is not the case for pl as this will will make yourself very vulnerable!
