Skill build
I like to spam my skills. And hey why not. But you need mana to do so. Around level 7 and 8 is when it gets a little hairy. Your spikes are going to eat up a bit of your mana, that and your fingering. A 2 second hex is all you need until you get up there in levels. Hex costs more mana than spike...... Your spike and hex were they are at level 6 is just fine so dont worry. Your mana drain can be very crippling / benificial if used at the right time, very under rated IMO but thats just me.
i prefer linken's sphere over BKB because of the stats, regen, and every 20 seconds you get to block a spell.. since your not initating, mostly supporting or comming up for a gank, well the first spell they cast on you will probably be the one to disable you. BKB has a big cooldown timer, though you do get control of when to use it, but if your supporting, you dont always have time to tell when people are going to cast on you...

If your late game and haven't use drum of endurances charges yet, well that sould tell you something.
6th slot Your choice - preference
Shadow blade - you can snip - hide - increase damage(38) atk speed(10)
Force Staff - you can help move team mates / yourself - increase intel,damage,atk speed(10)
Blade mail - make them pay for attacking you - increase intel(10), armor(5), damage(22)
Please DO NOT FORGET WARDS - scrolls of TP - even smoke
