How to Jungle as Lifestealer

Intro

So basically lifestealer is a tank and carry and can really dominate the game late game.I first played lifestealer when i randomed him and from then on ive played him quite a lot. This is my first guide so post comments on how i can improve it.It is also a work in progress so i will update it as i get more experience in playing lifestealer.

Pros and Cons

Pros
-has passive lifesteal
-has 50% slow
-can tank
-very easy to jungle
-can hide in other heros
-awesome ganking early game
-decent movespeed

Cons
-can get counterwarded early game
-item dependent
-can get owned if ganked

How to use lifestealer

You first start off with feast because its your jungling ability. You can then go for a level of rage to help you jungle if your not doing well but you really shouldnt need to use it. Then you get another feast then open wounds so you can go for a gank. Bot for radiant and top for dire. Pick their squishy hero and auto attack first then when they walk into you use open wounds so you and your team mate can both attack him and kill him. After that you should jungle more until you reach mid game which your whole team should be roaming and ganking. You can get either hand of midas or armlet though i generally tend to not get midas and get armlet instead.Make sure you use the courier to get you your items so you can get your items faster and farm faster.Your next item should be treads for those extra stats and movespeed. You can make a wand after you get treads if you want but you should only get it if your getting nuked or your participating in a lot of team fights. After you have your treads and armlet rush a skullbasher so now your pretty much set. Help your team go in all the team fights and try to tank most of the hits.If they spam spells at you all the time buy a bkb but you dont really need it unless you cant survive in the time that you use rage. Then you can get any one of the luxury or situational items. You should probably go for a daedalus next or mkb if they have evasion.Mjollnr is a good item for lifestealer and you should definetely get it if they have a heavy dps like you.

Friends and Enemies

Your friends are heros that can go invis, can tank, have massive stun or disable.
Friends
invis heroes riki,bounty hunter,clinkz etc
tank heroes pudge, dragon knight, treant protector and pretty much every strength hero
stun/disable lich,dragon knight,witch doctor,naga siren,sand king,tide hunter etc

Enemies
Your enemies are heroes that can disable you for a long time. The heaviest disabler is bane so you want to avoid him. Most of your enemies are stunners and disablers but huge dps ranged carries can also kill you if you get slowed and dont manage to attack them. Lycan and ursa can kil you in an instant because they have more dps than you and therefore you get owned by them. Razor deserves a special mention as he can suck all your damage out of you making you only a tank and making you unable to kill anyone.

Conclusion

I hope this guide has helped you play lifestealer well and be sure to post a comment to help me improve this guide.

level 8-10 I would get Rage.
if you look, open wounds doesn't actually create a better disable. Just stronger life steal, and faster cooldown. Whereas Rage last's longer, and AS is faster -
People say Naix doesn't need a BKB - but i completely agree with a BKB build.
Add a blink dagger to situational

thx for the comment but i think that lifestealer should be jungling mid game just after the ganking phase to get some extra gold and not really participate in fights so he can get more gold for his items.

Exactly? so why would you get open wounds over rage? by this point you could leave naix in the jungle with nothing but treads, and level 4 feast - he won't lose life. Rage allows you to gank, or escape ganks if needed. Wounds does nothing for you in jungle or in gank compared to rage.. :s

I prefer going feast lvl 1 then open wound 2-3-4-5, then ult, then rage. I don't feel like that extra 3% lifesteal is worth 3 levels of open wound(which gives 30% lifesteal to all your allies... even damage from spells counts.)
