Before we start off, I wanna ask: Does Counter Helix proc on illusions?

Now, I don't like your skill build If you're going as a jungler, maxing Culling Helix first is your main priority so you can clear neutrals faster. Battle Hunger is next so you can boom people with it. Lastly, getting Berserker's Call. Call isn't that effective in jungling so it should be left last.

Yes. I agree that if you want purely to clear neutrals faster, Counter Helix is better which I mentioned in the video guide but I prefer to gank and harass with Axe as well.
Quoted:
Back to the Three pick One part. I personally favour Blink Dagger then anything else. Although some might argue Force Staff is a variable option, I wouldn't agree. Why? Because what should happen is you blink in, cast Call then walk away, they will, obviously follow you and are unable to use any skills. You're suppose to be able to soak up a portion of that damage. However, if you encounter enemies who rush a Radiance, getting Force Staff would be better, since Dagger gets disable by the 'bright burning flame'.

Blink dagger is the best item for initiation but isn't so great in prolonged engagements or for escaping. Axe really needs some sort of escape mechanism hence the shadowblade/force staff.

Shadow Blade is a no-no. In normal matches, it gets counters easily and Axe doesn't benefit from the AS that much since he relies on Helix for most of his damage.

Vanguard is a little meh on Axe, getting Perseverance would be better in my opinion. It does allow you to cast more Battle Hunger, too.

You shouldn't be having too many mana issues with soul ring and yeh, Shadow blade is more of a pub item.

I've been playing Axe a lot recently so it comes from my recent experiences in VH so yeh.

When I saw the video yesterday, I wonder what was that...
