Drow - PubStomping Guide

Intro

Drow is one of the most OP hero in the game, which earns her a ban in Captains Mode. But she is squishy enough to not see much Pro play.
This guide is entirely a Pub Guide, and not really meant for professional play.
Drow is one of the easiest Carries to get started with, and I started Dota2 with her.
Heres the two builds that have worked for me, and worked well.

Build 1 : Hard Carry

This is not a cookie cutter Drow Build, its something that I got to with a lot of trial and error. The Reason for me to make this guide was this Build, I could not find it anywhere.
Be warned though, you WILL get flamed a lot for not having slow, silence and not ganking often. But rest assured, if you farm till level 11 focusing on last hitting and staying alive, you will be unstoppable after that.
This Build works best for the Solo Mid lane, and when you have a decently competent team, one which can hold its lanes till the 15 min mark.
DO NOT GO for this build if your team has 5 carries (these pubs :) )
DO NOT Go for this build if you are in a Side lane with another Carry
DO NOT GO for this build if you have a team that keeps tripping over itself, or keeps feeding.

Start with one set of Tangoes and two circlets. This gets you a decent amount of survivability and last hitting potential.
Focus on Last hitting, do not auto attack, you need to farm so keep the lane on your side of the river.
DO NOT GO BACK to the fountain. If no one in the team bought a Courier (these pubs :) ), you bite the bullet and buy one.
Build the two Wraith Bands first, before the 5 min mark. This gives you a solid amount of survivability and last hitting potential before you hit lvl 6. The go for the Gloves of haste or Belt of Strength, depending on weather you need the extra health or not.
Finish the boots, and focus on the Crystalis next.
If you are against a good Mid hero, and he engages you (Pudges Hook, Bloods Ruptuee) do not run away, just stand your ground and Fight. You have a ton of health with this build, and with your DPS youll make them regret the engage. Bear in mind that youre still not a Huskar, you will win almost all 1v1 encounters but 1v2 arent your cup YET.
Once you have the Crystalis, go for the HotD and your farming needs are done. The HotD and Crystalis make you a force to reckon with. You should have taken the Mid tower by now.
You should be lvl 11 by now with 1 lvl in Frost Arrows.
Now is the time when you go top or bottom to help the other lanes. Announce that you are coming to Gank.
Push with your team, and make sure you get all primary towers before the 20 min Mark.
You can Solo Rosh anytime after lvl 11, but use your judgement and Map awareness. I prefer not taking the Aegis because I get a little too cocky with it and end up dead.

Focus on farming that Daedalus, and then Manta Style in that order.
After you have your Manta, you are a Pushing Machine. But still, make sure you aren't caught alone, you are very susceptible to Stuns and Disables.
This is a Pure DPS build and you will be taking down tanks with 3 hits once you have the Manta. If the Game isn't over by the 40 min Mark, you can go for a Butterfly next. Do NOT GO FOR a Divine Rapier. You are Squishy, and by the time you farm one, the enemy team should be leveled up pretty well too, you die once and it'll be GG. I remember one game where 4 of my teammates abandoned, and the enemy Bounty bought a Divine Rapier. Little sneak got killed and the game took another 10 minutes and 15 deaths for their team to complete :D

Build 2 : Ganker Carry

The Carry that your Team Deserves :)

This is quite similar to most of the Drow Builds you will see online.
This is my fallback build, when I am relegated to a side lane. I still prefer going for the Hard Carry build, but with less exp and Farm ( supports don't let u take last hits in Pubs ) it takes longer to come online, and you are much more susceptible to ganks.
This Guide focuses on the Shadow Blade, which, with the recent change to it, is a much better item on Drow.

Starting items stay the same, but instead of the Crystalis, you go for the HotD first and then the Shadow Blade. This gives you a decent boost to attack speed and damage, while giving you a much needed escape.

Once again, do not push till lvl 11, and try to get your partner to pull the creep lane if you are in the long lane. The key to Drow is Farm Farm Farm.
Anytime after Lvl 6 you can and you should start roaming for Ganks. With your slow, Mid is an easy Gank for Drow, just make sure you announce the Gank in advance so that Mid can lure him to the River. Good team play should net you and your team a few kills. If the Enemy is full of Nukers, keep Silence Handy, Drow has one of the Best Silence in the Business.

If by lvl 11 you have a total of 5 kills plus assists, you did well. Now its time to really shine. When your team is pushing, get behind enemy towers for easy kills of fleeing enemies. If things go bad, use the Shadow blade to escape.
Rinse, repeat.

Since Drow is a DPS Carry, Daedalus is still your Core item, farm it next. Then go for a Malestorm for the extra Attack speed. If you have a good team, and did not lose any lanes, you can go for a Mjollnir and you will be a total Hit machine. Its upto you if you go for a Manta or a Butterfly, but the game should be over by now.

Friends and Foes

The Hard Carry Build is a pretty team independent Drow, and can work with almost any team.
Friends:
Lion - for his stun and disable
Shadow Shaman - for his shackles and hex
Ursa - He will love your slow
Slardar - For his repeated stuns
Void - Void Ult + Drow = GG
Bounty - $$$

Foes:
Lion - for his stun and disable
Shadow Shaman - for his shackles and hex ... this is a long list.
Everyone thats a Friend to Drow is also a Foe.
Anyone with a stun or a good initiation is a problem for drow.
Anyone with heavy Nukes is a problem for Drow.

Special Mentions:
Chaos Knight - His Stun and Illusions and Crit and Health ... can be a pain
Phantom Lancer - Only once have I hit a good PL in Pubs and He is near impossible to kill for Drow if played right. He has the highest Agility gain in Dota2 and is SCARY late game.

PubStomping Examples

Example 1 : Proper Pubstomping Example

Example 2 : If you get ahead early game, you can carry Pretty Hard and come online Early

Thats it, have fun with the easiest and one of the Hardest carries in the Game.
