Death Prophet (Early Tower Pushing)

Death Prophet Overview

Early Game (1-10min)

You're trying to get your arcane boots. Just get some last hits and harass the enemy heroes. Make use of Witchcraft's early leveling. This will allow you to have faster movement speed, which in addition to boots, should allow a DP to harass rather easily.

Mid Game (10-20min)
When you have your first ulti, you should already have 3 levels in Witchcraft. Level 3 witchcraft, in this context, gives you +9% movement speed, -20 mana cost on Locust Swarm, and ,most important of all, 5 Extra Exorcism Spirits.

At Level 6, you have 9(4 base + 5 extra) Evil spirits, practically the same as having level 2 'BASE' Ulti. This EATS towers. The other 'tower eat' build starts at Level 11. This one starts at 6. After your lane's tower is pushed down, usually after 2 ultis by level 7, help gank/push mid. Take down that tower as well if you can. In this stage, I start to roam and use my ulti to really push towers down quickly. I use my nuke to kill creepwaves quickly.

From gold obtained by pushing towers/ganking/using nuke to farm: get a bloodstone, 1000gold of it is in your Arcane Boots (Disassemble). Get Point Booster then Vitality Booster to finish Soul Booster. Get Perseverence AFTERWARDS to finish your Bloodstone.

End Game
xxx

Preface

Note: It was not my intention to publish an unfinished guide. Thanks to Balder for pushing me to make a higher quality guide.

This is a funky build that started out as a joke build but was extremely effective in every game. In every other build, her nuke is maxed first. However, DP's ulti is very strong in it's own respect.

This build is for an aggressive tower push. The ghouls can be used for damage when running away from enemy heroes. Compared to the nuke, which is powerful in its own respect, the ulti is just as good of a damage dealer and allows for towers and Roshan to be brought down extremely quickly.

This build focuses on rushing a Bloodstone using the Energy booster within the Arcane boots and extra gold from ganks/tower push.

Phases

Early Game (1-10min)

You're trying to get your arcane boots. Just get some last hits and harass the enemy heroes. Make use of Witchcraft's early leveling. This will allow you to have faster movement speed, which in addition to boots, should allow a DP to harass rather easily.

Mid Game (10-20min)
Level 3
When you have your first ulti, you should already have 3 levels in Witchcraft. Level 3 witchcraft, in this context, gives you +9% movement speed, -20 mana cost on Locust Swarm, and ,most important of all, 5 Extra Exorcism Spirits. Make sure to keep your mana above 325 to be able to use one nuke to finish an enemy hero off and to be able to consecutively use your ulti. Since this build focuses on pushing/gaining a gold bonus early through tower kills, your ulti must always be available for use. At the same time, you must guage when to use your nuke in order to finish/assist a hero running or a carry's kill respectively.

At Level 6, you have 9(4 base + 5 extra) Evil spirits, practically the same as having level 2 'BASE' Ulti. This EATS towers. After your lane's tower is pushed down, usually after 2 ultis by level 7, help gank/push mid. (This is where Arcane Boots help a lot in keeping your mana up enough to be able constantly use your ulti.

So, ganking/pushing mid. Either go there and try to gank or damage the lane's hero enough so that they must b. Now, you can kill the tower or damage it enough for a deny (+100).

After this stage, I start to roam and use my ulti to really push towers down quickly. I use my nuke to kill creepwaves quickly and to initiate/once again afterwards to assist kills.

End Game
xxx

Further

Before they know it, they are 3 towers down and pushed back into their lane. I usually like to Roshan eventually (AT A SMART TIME: i.e. NOT when creeps are fighting at river). DP's ult really eats Roshan. Use Smoke/Don't solo in early levels/Don't hog aegis, you're useless after your ulti is down.

I am afraid this guide will be poorly received.

I will try this build, but the problem here is not really the build, the guide is poor in content, color, images, etc. You should check out Dr. D guide to make guides, it helped me a lot in mine. If you want also you can copy the schema from mine, I hope this helps you. If you can't find Dr.D guide the link is on my guide, remember to thank him :D . Give this guide some design, and you will get more UpVotes. I'll give you mine after trying the build :)

Good luck improving it!

Also, here you have a nice example:

Starting with a full magic wand is not a good choice, in general you dont want to even start with stick unless against a Zues or Batrider. You are better off spending some of that money on bracer/null talisman parts or just saving some of it for a fast bottle if you are mid.

Otherwise I think adding some more situational/luxury items to fill out your build would be beneficial.

Nice guide (a little poor in content mb) the idea and concept are really relevant and good.

However, what would be interesting is a little part on "When to decide to go early pushing". At level 3 you have to make a choice, how do you make it?

There could be the same about "When to push" at an early stage. What are the indicators that tell you "Ho, now I should empty my mana bar in Locust Swarm and Exorcism.

About the items, I also disagree with Magic Wand. It's no good most of the cases. Hp regen, Str, Int, Wards, Boots are much better investments (depending on the situation/opponent ofc). I would probably prefer Str for obvious reasons (pushing), and wards to secure your push and avoid getting ganked with no mana or having the visibility to safely spend all your mana pushing.

However upvoted for sharing this interesting guide.

decent guide on a really interesting and creative build. It would definitely be worth it to spend a more time fleshing out the build!
