somehow i thought shadow shaman would be good in that game and accidantly +23 \o/ It's maybe my weakest, support.

currently playing almost none because i can't afford to lose mmr.

Before that i was mostly playing:
Lion, Venge

tryed to veno - good overall damage output but had a to weak early game.

Lion is actually my favorite hero!
What items are you usually getting on him?

Tranquils, wards, aether lense, blink, tp, dust.

I think people are over valuing lens on Lion. It is a great item. But Lion needs mobility more than everything else. Try getting a Force Staff before the Blink Dagger when you don't have that much money. I usually end up buying both items because they are so good on him.
You should also think about a safety item after your first or second mobility item (like Ghost Scepter or Glimmer Cape) as Lion is usually in the middle of the action.

You could also take a look at my guide. It may be not that fresh but 99% of the stuff is still right.

I play Lion a lot as well.

My build is pretty standard: (WARDS EVERYWHERE) Tranquils > Wand > Blink > Force > Aether Lens > Luxury

Aether lens is a good pickup AFTER blink dagger. But blink is a must.

I agree with building blink asap. Nothing like a blink hex pickoff. My only reason for not playing him much is because I can't seem to manage my mana with him.

Don't like Force Staff, in general and have never brought it to something good on lion.

I get blink i'm damn focking strong on lion. I get it not i loose ;) I use aether lens just to stay a little further a way from combat.

Force staff is a legit replacement on lion or any innitator for that matter if they just can't farm up the blink since force staff comes in parts.

You also can use Force Staff on your team.
