Well, this was going to show up eventually.

The official DOTAFire Music thread.

Link any music you are listening to or like. Favorite songs, etc.

I'll start:

Lately these songs have pretty much been on repeat:

That's pretty much all I can think of off the top of my head right now. Let's hear what the DOTAFire community is listening to.

I listen to pretty much everything - given it's good music, of course.

This very second, I'm listening to -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AULG4MoYxQk

Now that the song has changed (NB - Kunkka music if I ever did hear it - I have played full albums of Alestorm in games as Kunkka) -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ndl10rOpOu4

Stuff I also listen to -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bVRTtcWmXI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaxUZH0cbhM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYYhtqPVlk4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=-CVMEWHhFZc#t=37s (******** it's impossible to find Kalafina music not live on youtube - they're a contemporary classical band that's like a mixture of modern classical and jpop - their tenor is absolutely amazing. Could have linked a better or more well known song, but alas it's hard to find on youtube)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ci8REzfzMHY
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpUZM8YeJpA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtChjeN7K2w

Other bands/genres/types of music I could link but can't be bothered -
The Agonist
Nujabes
Most anything from the baroque era
A bunch other classical (my favourite piece would be Erlkönig by Schubert)
Arch Enemy
Aya Hirano
Eurobeat
Doom metal
Insomnium
Hatsune Miku

And finally, my favourite song -

Oh, boy! I smell the links. This could get a little out of hand.

I'm into rock and classical rock, let's leave it there for now :P

Oh wow. That Age of Mythology music brought back some major nostalgia moments for me. The only other video game soundtrack that I enjoyed that much (off the top of my head, anyways) would be the one from Civ IV. Here's the opening track, which just fit so well with the feeling of the game in my opinion:

As for what I usually listen to, anything off the R&B station from Grooveshark will do.

AoM is, quite literally, my favorite game of all time. I bought the game the week it came out, bought the expansion the day it came out, and to this day I play on average a game a day. It sounds exaggerated, but I really can't see myself ever getting bored of that game. I played it kinda competitively back in the day. Had an online rating of 1900~, which was pretty darned good. It brought a tear to my eye the day the news came out that Microsoft closed down Ensemble. Just everything about Age of Empires I love.

I cried ;_;.
If the day should ever come when we must go, if some day we are compelled to leave the scene of history, we will slam the door so hard that the universe will shake and mankind will stand back in stupefaction.

I just found that topic and got shocked that someone else is still playing AoM, because I play it weekly too. This game won't ever get old for me. I got entire AoM OTS on PC and on phone :)

Lately I've been listening to...
Hurt by Johnny Cash
M4 Part II by Faunts (ignore the music video, it's weird)
All Along the Watchtower by Jimmi Hendrix
