New european team Usagi Five is looking for an offlaner

The team was founded two months ago by the support duo consisting of Taiga and Martar, when we realized that a stable pair of supports make a very good foundation for a team. The purpose of this project is to gather a group of mature people who are serious about Dota, who will help each other to improve individually and as a team.

Our requirements:

Mature players, at least 18 years old. Living in the Western/Central Europe region. Average age in our team is 23, and we want to live relatively close to each other so we can bootcamp / travel to events. On that note, we want people who will be willing/able to travel for future events.

This is a long-term project, so potential for growth is more important than your current skill level. That being said, we want our members to be in a certain range so there aren't huge gaps between teammates. We want MMR of roughly 2500-4500. Outside of this range, you will probably be lagging behind or too far ahead of us.

Dedication to the game as a competitive sport. We are all passionate about competitive dota and watch most tournaments closely. We understand that improving in dota goes beyond the scope of just playing the game. You must treat it like any other competitive endeavor and analyse your own performance and performance of better players. This means watching replays, reading guides, watching streams and theorycrafting.

Long-term commitment. This team will take time to become truly competitive, and we are fine with that. There is a lot of work ahead of us, and the purpose of this project is to create an environment where people help each other to reach competitive level of play faster and allow each other to make mistakes. After two months we realized that people in the amateur scene have a problem with this and tend to leave soon and often. Do not apply if you are not prepared to stick with us if we hit some bad times or someone leaves the team.

Mental awareness and communication. We believe that dota is a game where your mental state decides how effective you are, rather than your mechanical skill. We want people that understand this, and know that working on your mental self-control and communication is as important if not more than working on your mechanical skills and execution. You should not be quiet or talk way too much in voice, and calm and positive attitude (no raging/blaming/giving up) is an absolute must. Each member must contribute to good morale, positive outlook and efficient flow of relevant information in voice.

If you have read these requirements and think that you could be a good fit for us, please fill in this short form and we will get back to you.
