a way to avoid this woud be to use some reserves...if the team is of 5 people, 8 people show up for the match, if one or two from the team do not show up you use the reserves.
It should be stated early in witch order the reserves might enter the game...

Lol. Besides, the heroes I play the most and have the highest confidence with aren't even in the DOTA2 pool yet. Shadow Demon and Nerubian Assassin. *foams*
