Easiest Hero

Which are the easiest heroes of Dota newbies? I only have played LoL but I just received a beta key and plan on playing Dota 2 more often.

Lich

Riki or SS

Storm Spirit is not an easy mode face roll character, especially if you are new to dota.

Viper + Skeleton King

Vengeful Spirit

I think he meant shadow shaman.

Easy heroes: skeleton king, viper, drow, sniper, Zeus, crystal maiden, lion, Sven, tidehunter, huskar. I would try any of the easy carries I mentioned until you feel comfortable last hitting well.

I'd say Sven is not a hard hero

Every hero contains a certain amount of skill to play effectively and well.

I would suggest any hero that doesn't require large amounts of farm, due to being new you will die a lot and have a low level of last hitting.

Definitely try Crystal Maiden and Vengeful Spirit as they do not require farming and will benifit the team with just one of there spells (The Aura on CM and the stun and swap from VS)

Supports are better to start with until you get the hang of the game. Lion and Lich are good strong choices.
