Name change

Hey Moderators can i get a name cahnge this one is dumb i think i was 15 when i made it

If you want a new name you can create a new account and in case you want to transfer any guide from this account to that one, we can take care of it!

And why exactly can't or won't you do name changes? I would like to change mine too.

I believe what Hades means is that it isn't possible to do name changes, not that they're intentionally withholding that option.

I've only experienced two types of forums (BZPower and here), but don't forums usually have an option in the profile options to do a name change if they actually can do it?

Our forum code is custom made and your account is associated with many facets of the site besides the forum. Also, remember that our site is a network in which you can easily sign in to any site on the network using your name and password.

Your account is associated with your name and we cannot change it.

We have already offered you the option to create a new account and transfer your guide over. All you would lose is your post count of 3. Every comment and vote on your guide would be maintained.

These are your two options. Make a new account or keep your old one with a name you prefer less. It is up to you. PM Hades if you make a new account and want your guide transferred. Otherwise, this discussion doesn't have much point in continuing. Locking.
