Huskarrrrr!

So I had this game as Husk, and I destroyed mid, ganked bottom, ganked top, you may notice I had a stupid amount of kills... especially since I lost.

Now I obviously made mistakes, forgot about rubberband and dove too far once or twice, but overall that wasn't the reason for our failure--It was Tiny

(This post is not to flame him, just to provide an example--please do not blow me up with comments about "IT TAKE EVRY1 2 WIN GAEM OF DOTO." I know it does, again it's an example)

Anyways, so I was roaming around the map, gettin kills, but i made sure to only come to Tinys lane when he needed help against heroes so I wouldn't stifle his farm, and I left him our jungle. But the man was just not getting gold. He missed last hits, he didn't seem to use his mana effectively to farm, he just wasn't raking in dat money. Because of this we were unable to press our advantage, Spectre got farmed, blah blah blah the usual comeback stuf this patch.

When I asked why he was farming so slow, his response was that 'Sorry I almost always play support.' This struck me as interesting because while it doesn't always happen, it's common knowledge that carries should be good at farming.

However, I argue that supports should be just as or more efficient than the carry is.

The reason for this is simple. When I play Medusa in a trilane, every last hit is presented to me like a gift, (Depending on if I remember how medusas attack animation works I may not be able to open the gift -_- ), and I always have more and more creeps coming to give me gold.

However, this luxury is nonexistent to a support. You may only have 3 creeps you can last hit while I'm busy finding a tree that's big enough to give me the best use of my Tango. You have wards, couriers, and consumables you need to buy, so you better get those three last hits.

In essence, carries have a huge window to farm, so they can be slightly inefficient and get away with it. Supports have a teeny-tiny window to farm, so they have to make the best use of it that they can.

I can't tell you how many times I play with a support and they're like "hey lemme get a few last hits for arcanes." I'm like alright, I like mana, go ahead bro! Missed last hit..missed last hit...missed last hit..."Alright I just waited long enough and my gold ticked up enough thanks"...No problem.

So don't think that being a support player is an excuse to not know how to farm well, in fact I believe you will be much more useful to your team if you take some time to learn how to last hit effectively.

No..nono, I don't mean take your carry's last hits when they are there, just make the most of it when they aren't.
