"Flower of jasmine,so fair!
flower of jasmine,so fair!
budding and blooming here..."

It was stuck in his mind. And with it, were stuck the memories of a time long past. What could he do, it was a beautiful song...

"sweetness for all to share.."

No! This would not do! This was war, not a wealthy merchants house! But then, he was dancing among the waves of minions...dancing like the delicate petals of a fragile Jasmine flower...

"oh Xin you unbearable romantic, stop playing with them!", said Raijin, the outspoken and jovial Spirit of Thunder, who was with him on a journey up the treacherous banks of the falfarren. Ah! the Falfarren! Xin remembered with great fondness the time that he had spent here, on the once gentle slopes which marked the beginning of the beach of the most beautiful river on the realm. Sure, the Seine was more scenic; the Ganges, more serene; but Falfarren was from another world indeed!

As the duo made their way to the secret shop of the radiant, they made sure they were not being followed, because their quest was of immense importance to the radiant.

Suddenly, Raijin opened his bag of dust, revealing Rikimaru, the dreaded assassin, laying low and scouting for his team. "How..how did you know?" he stammered. "A warrior-poet is trained not only to observe his environment, but also to appreciate it, It's not something a mere illusionist like you might understand", said Xin, as shackles of fire slowly consumed the assassin.

"tch tch, the little saytr. He was just doing what he was told.." , said Raijin, apparently unhappy about the death of his once good friend. " It is the way of all things in this world my old friend, we all die, we all forget, we all regret...",These were the last words they said to each other before wading into the heat of battle again, having brought their preferred instruments of death and destruction.

Having thoroughly decimated their enemies, The two celestials went to their old shack on the dire side to have their preferred choice of poison.

"Things sure have changed Xin" reminisced Raijin, sipping white thunder, while Xin sat down on his old table."So, you understand it too now?" it was a rhetoric question. The two celestials knew what had to be done.Man had grown weak.Decadent. He had fallen into the pit of malice and greed. He had to be reintroduced to knowledge. The irony was that it was his own knowledge that he had forgotten that the celestials would have to again bestow upon him.

The elders had decided, so had the celestials. The days of ignorance were going to end, and a new era of prosperity was going to be ushered in under the capable and strong hands of the spirits.
"They won't listen
They won't care to hear
The truth, they'll never know"
