I'm a bit annoyed by this game... NA'VI were confirmed 1st in the play-off's, but Wings/HGT/Speed are still playing for a place. If Wings get through by one game ahead of either of the others (who NA'VI tryharded against and crushed) i'd be pissed.
I agree with you, even though it was entertaining to watch, it's really unfair towards the other participants, hopefully there won't be any problems.
I've heard (on another forum) it will go down to head to head, in which case Wings were already out and the game had no bearing on anything. If that is the case I'm OK with it.
Please stop with the off-topic posts, they're everywhere and it's enough already.
Its a double innuendo you misunderstood.
Navi try harded against all other teams they met previously and now what they are doing is having fun(not bad) in professional games.
What happens here is that wings get an easy win for the bracket and since navi are safe(i presume) they are actually, making a grandiose strategy of selecting opponents in upcoming bouts. wings still have a chance in some tiebreaker-s*it kinda deal.
Should they(navi) do so- thats on their own pride
Can they- they can and did so.
Apparently that means , and i feel too that it somehow destroys the spirit of competition and even wings wont be too happy with this win.
The second one you already know, to my buddy calm boy who's absent from these forums for a while.
Dunno why i felt bad for him. In hindsight, i shouldnt defend but for now, i will leave this as it is for all to see.
Kinda tricky to say - on one hand it's completely legitimate to try out an unusual strategy or even play a "B" team when you've already qualified (see any football tournament), as long as you're not intentionally throwing. However, I could also see why another team might be pissed to lose out on the back of it. By the sound of it, the competition rules cover this pretty well.
Also, a Toss onto Techies - either with mines laid or suicide is a 100% definite kill early on unless against a Templar Assassin with Refraction active (or possibly a Pugna with lightning reactions). Same with Meat Hook onto mines at any stage in the game with sufficient mines. It's another reason I consider the hero fundamentally broken, but you can't blame Pro teams for trying to leverage it in the current state. I kinda hope this starts happening a lot so something gets done about it.

well dendi's game was way worse since he just stood on predicable minespots instead of roaming and finding kills, so i doubt it will become a thing. besides, what can you do about it? not let mines go off if you use a spell that makes en enemies position change?
and they weren't trying to leverage it, they just wanted to screw around with techies and other weird picks.
