Even though phantom assassin just got nerfed for what is most likely the wrong reason, the game designers are completely ignorant to take the following in to consideration from the very start.

When are we going to see "RIGHT THINKING" for a game design foundation? Perhaps never.

1.) It's perfectly fine to have a carry classified ultimate like phantom assassin has, THAT'S NOT WHY PEOPLE COMPLAIN, EVEN THOUGH THE DESIGNERS ASSUME SO! LOL! The problem is the fact that her carry classified ultimate works with armor reduction. A 450% crit working with armor reduction? ARE YOU SERIOUS?

2.) Even if that wasn't a problem, there are heroes in the game such as, say... IO who start out with - 1 armor. And people wonder why IO has the worst win rate? OMFG! Half the reason why IO is so bad is just because Phantom assassin is so good! And picked so much! If you have an io who gets his armor reduced and never takes off, then his armor will be below zero upon a phantom assassin crit. What is beyond sad is that we don't even really know how much damage this is effectively doing because the game doesn't count getting K.O. by double and even triple your life pool in ONE BLOW! it would take IO more then 2 minutes to even come back in to the game because he technically died 3 times in one hit.

3.) Pretty sure that block does not block the % of crit damage done as an enhancement to its own block damage if a blocked attack procs on a crit. Thereby blocking 450% more when a 450% crit procs on a block. Just ignorant.

4.) The game designers believe dying is part of the game and so they say to get blade mail. Ok! So what happened to the blade mail that drains mana but always stays active? Oh, so lets just throw a window of chance that you might reflect back at a PA... And you made reflect damage as pure damage to justify this? Reflect isn't suppose to be pure! It's suppose to reflect the same damage type, hence RE-FlECT-ION. READ THE LOGIC!


5.) The game design philosophy is asinine, I'm just waiting for ignorant game design at best, is that so much to ask for?

God I hope we merely get ignorant quality game design!

I'd be like a little kid at Christmas time opening up the color coated presents!

PA got nerfed? Wut? Because dagger damage got reduced by 5? All she got was buffs.

Her talent tree gives overall +50 damage.
Satanic gives +25 damage than before with the change.

That's a raw +75 damage that she got for free. Ok it's actually +55 because she lost attribute bonus but still.

The days of PA's damage being dog**** are officially over.

Plus she's a viable offlaner now with the shrines / bounty runes.

Make centaur's return pure damage classified

And crimson function as a duration pool situationally used up, yet still triggering macro cooldown.

And you might have some balance

Oh and some scaling for brews ult

Io has a good winrate in pro games. The winrate in pubs are bad because people don't know how to use the hero or teammates can't play with Io's abilities.

Or just go play ranked and vote to ban PA...

Well... it's not as bad, but it's still pretty ****.

Offlane PA mightn't be awful though, but I still don't see her being a good #1.

OSfrog, make Desolator stack with Satanic. Why the hell not. It stacks with skadi now, right? And how many heroes are going to go deso+lifesteal? Really not many. And it's not OP by any stretch.

This way, you can save PA by finally giving her a good item build.

Seriously, you can literally remove UAMs from the game now. You allowed Skadi anti-mage, which was the ONLY orb combination that could potentially be broken af. Seriously, what are people gonna do, build Desolator on Sand King? XD

Seriously make manta give 35 AGI and make Phantom Strike give illusions attack speed (or blink them like CK rift does) and MAYBE.

Manta worst item? You get 25 agility out of talents. Please don't even think about rushing manta on any hero that isn't terrorblade or naga siren.

I won't even ask you to rush it on morph or spectre. In the latter case a diffusal first strat is way better

Irregardless, I've been experimenting with a PA build that gets Aquila, Phases > HotD which is still broken > Yasha > Daedalus, eventually building into things like Satanic, Manta and Abyssal. Mathematically, it's perfect. In practice, I've only had three games, so a bit early to tell. It's looking promising, though. This is probably the best lategame build out there for the hero, that doesn't really sacrifice her midgame at all.

While it's not great early, a 4th or 5th item Manta on PA is pretty terrifying, especially if you're combining it with a Daedalus or Bloodthorn.
